Martingale Collars
Martingale collars are designed so that the collar will sit loose under normal use but tighten enough to be smaller than the dog's head to help prevent them backing out of the collar. We have found that these only work on dogs where there is at least a 2 inch difference.
We do 3 different styles of martingale collar:
Standard martingale collar
This is our standard martingale collar and needs to be designed so it will go over the dogs head but pull tight when in use.
Buckle martingale collar
Buckle martingales are the same as our standard martingale but incorporating a buckle on the loop. This allows for a larger head size compared to neck size.
Long loop martingale collar
This collar has a long loop and can be adjusted to different sizes and is easy to take on and off. This collar is not recommended for leaving on your dog.

Large (Deerhound/Large Lurcher) Sized
Medium (Greyhound) Sized

Deerhound/Large Lurcher Sized
Our large collars are 2 inch wide with a 1" wide loop, except our long loop which is 0.5 inch wide. This gives a nice wide collar round the neck and a sturdy loop. These collars are suitable for the larger breeds such as large lurchers, deerhounds, wolfhounds and other large breeds with long necks.
Greyhound Sized
Our medium collars are 1.75 inch wide with a 3/4" wide loop, except our long loop which is 0.5 inch wide. This gives a nice wide collar round the neck and a strong loop. These collars are suitable for greyhounds and medium lurchers as well as larger whippets and other medium sized breeds with long necks.
