Martingale collars are designed so that the collar will sit loose under normal use but tighten enough to be smaller than the dog's head to help prevent them backing out of the collar.

Greyhound & Lurcher Collars
Our large collars are 2 inch wide with a 1" wide loop, except our long loop which is 0.5 inch wide. This gives a nice wide collar round the neck and a sturdy loop. These collars are suitable for the larger breeds such as large lurchers, deerhounds, wolfhounds and other large breeds with long necks.
Whippet & Small Lurcher Collars
Our medium collars are 1.75 inch wide with a 3/4" wide loop, except our long loop which is 0.5 inch wide. This gives a nice wide collar round the neck and a strong loop. These collars are suitable for greyhounds and medium lurchers as well as larger whippets and other medium sized breeds with long necks.
