A sample collar to try out a new colourway in the renaissance design. Collar is sized to pull tight at approx. 12.5 inches.
Standard martingale collars are designed to be large enough to go over the dogs head (head measurement) and to then close approximately 2 inches smaller when tightened by the lead so not to slip over the dogs head. Buckle martingales give more flexibility as they don.t need to slip on over the dog.s head so should fit fine as long as the neck (tightened) measurement is smaller than your dog.s head. Ideally this should be at least 2 inches smaller.
Sometimes we have collars that we have made as samples, or that are slight seconds, and these will be listed for immediate purchase. Each collar will have all of the details on the page. Please note that as there is only one of each, sometimes a collar is still showing when it has already been purchased. When you place an order you will be sent an invoice if the collar is still available to purchase.
Leather is a natural product, and some collars may feature authentic natural patterns in the hide, this is normal in premium full grain leather. Leather is also porous and if the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Saturation should be avoided, but if the collar does get wet, allow it to air dry naturally. Collars should be regularly treated with an appropriate leather conditioner.
Our collars and leads are made from very high quality components, but because leather is a natural material that is affected by many factors we highly recommend that for your and your pet's safety you examine pet's collars and leads regularly for any signs of wear and tear.
